We put some music on the Pandora and got to work. What does one listen to when making a Jack-O-Lantern? Urban Chill obvs.
I got everything layed out and ready to go. It was like surgery up in that piece.
GTL really didn't carve a pumpkin when he was a kid, so I kind of have to show him how.
Tops off!
So as we started to carve, he got about 3/4 of the way through getting all the goo out and quit to start carving.
I didn't realize it until after he said he was done and I had to go back in to get out all the stuff he left behind so it wouldn't burn off. Now I know what mom went through every year times three.
I am not too artistic when it comes to these sorts of things. I usually just keep it old school. So I sketched out a few ideas on the newspaper and got to cutting.
In the end, I was pleased with both of them, and GTL had fun, so it was a win win. Here are the finished products.
